Research and Planning: Location Recce

Interior, Bedroom. This will act as the bedroom of Anna. The light and stereotypical 'girly' colours mirror the innocence and naivety of the two protagonists. It also contrasts with the harsh black colour of the suitcase, which represents the mystery of their trip and foreshadows the dark turns that occur when they are in New York.

The filming of this shot took place in Crystal Palace Park. Whilst in New York I didn't get the chance to film in Central Park and so decided to use this park as a double as it looks quite convincing. 

This shot was filmed at Grand Central Terminal in New York City.This was an essential location as I needed to show the journey of the protagonists and also it established the setting of New York well.

The location for this shot was outside of my hotel in New York City on the sidewalk. This was another shot I wanted to show a typical New York scene to show that the protagonists were completely immersing themselves in New York and it also shows the chaos of the city.
